The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that the Bolivarian Government is planning a second phase of the Ana María Campo Monumental Park, which includes the construction of an acoustic shell “to bring in the best musicians from Venezuela and the world”.
“I have come to formally hand over the first 10 hectares of Ana María Campos Park. Let's go for more!” , emphasized, during the official opening ceremony in Maracaibo, Zulia state, during the 38th broadcast of his program “With Maduro +”.
For her part, the president of the Venezuela Bella Mission, Jacqueline Faria, explained that this park offers Zulians 10 hectares for recreation “in its first stage with five water fountains, 4.5 hectares of green areas, 17 fields that allow them to practice all sports”.
“We are not yet two months old and we have received almost 200,000 people. The second phase is coming where 18 hectares are already being built,” he said.
He specified that the acoustic shell that is planned to be built will have a capacity to accommodate 2,000 people, a theater for boys and girls and a fresbee court.
The Ana María Campos Monumental Park has made it possible to meet the needs of recreational spaces and green areas for the enjoyment of the local population.
