President Maduro announced the full development of Operation Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi in Nueva Esparta

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the deployment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the state of Nueva Esparta, as part of the Luisa Cáceres Insular Defense Operation of Arismendi 200.

“Operation Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi is in full swing to fully defend the state of Nueva Esparta. What a great capacity for action of the Popular Military Police Fusion... We are Gaining Peace with Sovereignty and Equality,” said the Head of State through his Telegram channel, where he shared a video of the deployment.

The objective of this operation is to strengthen the protection of this territory and of the entire nation, by air, sea and land to keep the country free from activities related to drug trafficking.

In the area, patrolling and surveillance tasks are carried out, as well as maritime exploration in collaboration with artisanal fishermen's councils, in addition to paratrooper launch operations, cargo launches and other operational activities.
