The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the next launch of the next-generation satellite Guaicaipura, within the framework of bilateral cooperation with the People's Republic of China.

“With China, we are building extraordinary relationships in energy, technology and investment. With the favor of God the Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth, I hope very soon to be giving good news about the next-generation satellite, Guaicaipura, coming from China to space,” said the head of state during the 70th broadcast of his Con Maduro+ program.

He indicated that Guaicaipura will have a satellite communication system. “We are going to have satellite internet for the communes, for the people, for the neighbors, at affordable prices. We will have secure communications for all security agencies in their fight for peace, the stability of the country,” he said.

On the other hand, he noted China's interest in expanding cooperation with Venezuela through the Plan for the Homeland of the Seven Transformations (Q7). “The revolution of the seven transformations.nets interested him so, so much so that then we said, we are going to work on a cooperation plan in each of the lines of work so that China, with all its technological, scientific, human, political and financial capacity, is thus integrated into the National Development Plan 2025-2031,” he said.
