The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that last Saturday, November 22, the first 50 cows arrived at the Caracas-La Guaira Highway Corridor from the Apure state, stressing that they will strengthen food sovereignty and boost domestic production.
The Head of State made this announcement after having activated the Pilot Plan for Integral Development in this axis, based on the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T) of the Plan of the Homeland, in order to promote its great potential, due to its high level of communal organization, its political strength and its capacity for mobilization.
“These producing cows will generate milk and cheese for the communes of the Caracas-La Guaira corridor, for families in the three territorial axes and also for the city of Caracas; as part of the promotion of food sovereignty and the strengthening of local production,” he said.
