President Maduro announces inauguration of monuments in Caracas for the Day of Indigenous Resistance

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, took a tour of different parts of Caracas in the company of the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.
During the day, he inspected the Monument to the Great Chief Guaicaipura and Urquía, and indicated that its inauguration is scheduled for today, Sunday, October 12, as part of the Day of Indigenous Resistance.
The Head of State also visited the works dedicated to Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, located in the capital. In his message, he expressed his gratitude to the people and the working class for their support in building and defending peace.
“We continue to work, advance and defend Peace together with the people and the working class, to whom I thank for their love and support. Always count on me,” said the president.
The president concluded his message by assuring that “Venezuela is moving forward, from victory to victory!”
