The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Tuesday the beginning of a great phase of popular self-government, while instructing to convene multiple days of work to hold community meetings in the communes, on the changes that the people require.
During the meeting with representatives of the Communes, held in the Ezequiel Zamora room of the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, the head of state entrusted this task to the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez and the Minister for the Communes, Ángel Prado.
The Dignitary evaluated the Second National Popular Consultation 2024, held last Sunday, when the people were convened “with a democratic spirit, never with hatred, nor with the intention of guarimba, we will never do it, we call to draw the present and visualize the future!” , he said.
He indicated that “the Second Consultation shows that if we are on the right side of history, it has been wonderful.”
