President Maduro approved resources for the recovery plan and expansion of the Trasandina highway

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the framework of his 100th anniversary of construction on July 24, reported that he approved the resources for the execution of a comprehensive plan for the recovery and expansion of the Transandine Highway, which has been affected by the heavy rains recorded in recent days.

The announcement was made in the 84th edition of his program “With Maduro+”, offering an assessment of the deployment of the “Andes 2025" Task Force.

He also confirmed that the telecommunications service will remain completely free in the state of Mérida, for at least one more month, “Mérida was the area most affected by the rains,” he said.
