President Maduro: Attack launched against the SEN was aimed at liquidating Guri

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a report from the Presidential Command Post, reported that the attack on the National Electric System (SEN) was directed against the Simón Bolivar Hydroelectric Power Plant, in Guri, Bolívar state.

“We know how it was done and we don't say more because we are in the process of investigating to achieve justice in this case,” said the Head of State.

He asserted that thanks to the protection of the generation system four years ago, fascism could not reach the body of hydroelectric turbines.

“Now they played the game completely, and the highest-level specialists say that the attack they carried out could be described as they themselves described it: the father and mother of the attacks against the Guri,” he explained.

He stressed that “the protection systems we built from a technological point of view have worked and we have protected Guri, we have reserved Guri,” he stressed.
