President Maduro: By 2027 we must have six thousand communes

This Thursday, February 20, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that the goal of communes formed by 2027 is six thousand.

This was stated in his participation in the High-Level Workshop of the Popular Government that is taking place in La Carlota, Miranda state.

“We already have 5,338 communal circuits and we are going straight to our goal. In two years by dawn we should have six thousand. We have made rapid progress in the formation of Community Councils and when Chávez spoke of the Communes the People became active (...) Let's move on,” he urged.
