President Maduro called for prayer “for the health, recovery and life of Pope Francis”

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has called for a day of prayer for this Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 in the evening to ask for the health of Pope Francis.
He extended the invitation “to all Catholic communities, all Christian communities, all Muslim communities, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, ancient spiritualities and the whole of Venezuela. We are going to pray for the health, recovery and life of Pope Francis.”
From the Miraflores Palace, during the meeting with the National Commission for Constitutional Reform, the head of state noted that “Pope Francis saved the Catholic Church at a time of impressive crisis, with his ethical and moral leadership.”
He highlighted the closeness of the supreme pontiff to Venezuela, accompanying the country with “blessings, prayers and words of encouragement in the most difficult moments.”
