President Maduro: Capitalism destroyed the planet's ecological balance

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the deployment of the Task Force, Andes 2025, stated that climate change is generating temperatures well above what planet Earth had for millennia.

“There has been a change, because capitalism destroyed the planet's ecological balance,” he said from the Command Post in the Miraflores Palace, where he highlighted the devastation caused by the maelstrom of capitalism.

“Capitalism has been like an infernal, mortal devil against the habitat where human life was created, where human life developed, since today we are seeing the consequences of two centuries of destruction and pollution,” he lamented.

Along the same lines, he indicated that the calculations generated by experts in the 80-90s showed that with global warming there was already a risk that the temperature would rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, which would mark the beginning of the non-return and of the climate collapse of planet Earth.
