President Maduro celebrates 45 years of the independence of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

This Sunday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through his Telegram channel, sent congratulations to the People and Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the 45th anniversary of their Independence.

“My congratulations and fraternal greetings go to the noble people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, who celebrate this October 27, the 45th Anniversary of their Independence,” wrote the Head of State.

In the same message, President Maduro stressed: “Receive the embrace of the Bolivarian people! Brotherhood and friendship between the two countries are progressing from victory to victory, as is the consolidation of union and fraternity. May our love and solidarity reach the peoples of the Caribbean!”

The Independence of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has been celebrated every October 27 since 1979, when it officially became independent from the United Kingdom.
