President Maduro: Chávez is still alive in the hearts of millions of men and women in the country and the world

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the thought and work of Commander Hugo Chávez are still in force in the heart of his people and the world.

“Chávez is still alive, with his ideas, with his image, with his symbolism and most importantly in the hearts of millions of men and women not only in Venezuela, but all over the world,” he emphasized during the Maduro Podcast Episode 9.

For his part, the brother of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Adán Chávez, recalled that Commander Chávez loved baseball and swore to his idol “The Whip Chávez” that he would be a professional baseball player, a dream that was replaced when he entered the Military Academy.

“After three months of the introductory course, he says that he was born to be a soldier and not a baseball player (...) when he left the Academy, he went to the General Cemetery of the South to apologize to the whip Chávez in the grave for not fulfilling his oath but that he was going to dedicate himself to being a soldier of the Fatherland,” he said.
