President Maduro: Commander Chávez outlined what a security system for the people should be

During the ceremony of delivering equipment for the security and citizen protection forces, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez drew the lines to build a comprehensive and efficient system of protection of the people.

“Commander Chávez outlined the future of what a citizen security system should be to protect the people,” he said and emphasized that, as a result of this work, “the manuals, tactics and strategies of our police forces are Made in Venezuela.”

“That should fill us with pride because it is the product of intelligence, of the analysis of Venezuelan minds,” he said.

He indicated that with the guidance of Commander Chávez, “Venezuela is writing its own history and the military chiefs, and the police chiefs, and all the military and police officials who are truly aware of what we are doing so that we work to correct all the mistakes that may be being made.”

“We must have a critical and self-critical spirit,” he instructed.
