President Maduro commemorated the 50th anniversary of Mozambique's independence

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the 50th anniversary of Mozambique's independence.

Through a post made on his Telegram channel, Gil reiterated Venezuela's intention to “accompany peoples who continue to fight for their self-determination and to harvest lives full of dignity.”

Relations between Venezuela and Mozambique have resulted in the execution of cooperation projects in various areas, such as tourism, agriculture, mining and the forestry sector. In addition, they are developing a training program for students from the African nation, through Fundayacucho, in programs such as Integral Community Medicine, Gas, Oil, Electricity.
