President Maduro congratulated Clara Fuentes after being crowned in the World Parapower Championship in Egypt

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the Venezuelan paraathlete Clara Fuentes, who won the gold medal in the World Parapowerlifting Championship (Parapower), held in Cairo, Egypt.

Through his Telegram channel, the head of state explained that Fuentes managed to lift 121 kilograms in the 50 kg category, which secured him first place “and reaffirmed his place among the greats of world sports”.

“Venezuela makes itself felt on every international stage. Thank you for inspiring us, champion!” , said the Dignitary.
