President Maduro congratulates students who participated in the Youth Day march

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the students who this Wednesday, February 12, participated in the Youth March held in the city of Caracas. This was stated at the inauguration of the International School of Leadership.

“We commemorate 211 years when a noble, simple youth faced the greatest threat of their time. He (José Tomás) Boves came with all his bloodthirsty and destructive force and was leaving the path clear for the assault of Caracas and in the face of this, our General José Félix Ribas, in the absence of soldiers, went up to the remaining major seminary in La Pastora and took a group of seminarians and they saved Caracas and the Homeland”.

He stressed that every February 12 in Venezuela is the “day of warriors and anti-imperialists, it is an anti-slavery and anti-oligarchic day (...) It's a day of the brave and the brave.”
