This Monday, August 19, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the extreme right “is trying in vain to turn convicted and confessed criminals, with records, into political persecuted.”

In this regard, during the Meeting with the National Directorate of the PSUV and the Great Patriotic Pole, he pointed out that imperialism and its lackeys are once again using discredited organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) for this deception and manipulation.

“They are using Luis Almagro and the rotten OAS again, they are using a discredited, decadent ICC, we know that film and with Venezuela neither Almagro, nor the ICC nor all that garbage that Washington handles at will against them they want,” said the Head of State as well.

He recalled that the men arrested by security agencies in Venezuela were captured drugged and armed, and they also murdered people and destroyed State public property. “The violence went further, innocent people were murdered, there's the evidence,” he said.
