President Maduro: Economic improvements in Venezuela are a reality that must be consolidated

This Wednesday, January 08, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that Venezuela, despite aggressions and attacks, has made the country 's improvements and economic growth a reality, which must now be consolidated.

“Economic improvements are already a reality in Venezuela, we must consolidate it, so simultaneously and harmoniously the year 2025 must be a year of progress and consolidation,” said the Head of State during the Notification by the National Assembly of the session of the legislative year.

He also highlighted that Venezuela already has 14 quarters of economic growth since 2021, proof of this is that in 2022 growth was 15%, while in 2023 it was 5.5%. At the same time, he emphasized that he estimates that by 2024 growth will exceed 9%.

For this reason, he emphasized that Venezuelans cannot let the peace and economic and social recovery that they have been working on be taken away.

“We cannot let them steal Venezuela's right to follow its own path, its own model, its own destiny with this Constitution in charge,” he said.
