The extreme right contacted and hired criminals from all over the country to provoke acts of violence in Venezuela, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced.

In this regard, during a press conference with international media from the Miraflores Palace, he explained that the extreme right coordinated to carry out these terrorist plans with the criminal groups that are still operating in the territory and handed them huge amounts of money and drugs so that they could act after the elections of July 28.

“They intended to republish in Venezuela the phenomenon of Haiti, where gangs control territories and behind it political power. Behind this are the gringos (USA) but not here, we are not going to allow it,” he stressed.

In the same way, the Head of State accused the former presidential candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, of being responsible for these events that sought to end the tranquility of the country. “Mr. González Urrutia assumes his responsibility,” he emphasized.
