President Maduro highlights activation of “Exercise Independence 200" in five states of the country

Through his official Telegram channel, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the activation of the “Independence Exercise 200" in the states of Zulia, Carabobo, Aragua, Falcón and La Guaira, with the objective of defending sovereignty, guaranteeing the future and preserving territorial integrity.

The president indicated that the deployment is carried out phase by phase and territory by territory, through the activation of the Integral Defense Operational Zones (ZODI) and the Integral Defense Orders (ODDI), as part of the coordination between the People's Power, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies.

He specified that 27 simultaneous territorial actions are currently being carried out. Every maneuver, tactical deployment and checkpoint seeks to prevent any strategic paralysis and strengthen national capacity to guarantee peace and exercise sovereignty.

Maduro said that these maneuvers improve the capacity to respond to any scenario. He reiterated that Venezuela remains on alert, with operational cohesion and willingness to defend the national territory.
