President Maduro: Hotel occupancy during Holy Week was more than 80% nationwide

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday, April 21, reported that during the holidays of Holy Week 2025, hotel occupancy exceeded 80% throughout the country.

He stressed that the states most visited by tourists were Falcón, La Guaira and Miranda.

In this regard, in the broadcast of the 76th edition of the program “With Maduro+”, he specified that this year there were more than 12 million visitors in all regions of the country, “to the Center, to the South, to the West, to the beach, to the mountains”.

“It was an impressive Holy Week in which the spiritual and the religious were combined in a very pedagogical way throughout the country,” he said.

He also highlighted that during this Major Week, domestic and international tourism increased by 16.3%, compared to last year.

The head of state stated that “Venezuela has organized itself with police, military and civil security throughout the territory, to guarantee security, as well as the national movement of recreational people in each space, to bring joy”.

“We are a country that fights for its happiness,” he emphasized.
