President Nicolás Maduro Moros, went to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) in Caracas this Wednesday to file an Application for Amparo before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice and thus request an expert opinion on the presidential elections of last July 28

“I go to the highest judiciary to check all the evidence and certify the results with an expert opinion through an electoral dispute,” said President Maduro.

“To those who attack me in the world, I remind them that this young man is a co-drafter of the Constitution, a constituent, even though I didn't study law... I will never allow the country to be damaged and I love my country,” he warned.

The president added that he is “willing to be investigated by the electoral room” and assured that “the evidence of the global plot against Venezuela has already appeared.”

“I am going to continue to protect the people so that they can return to their activities,” he said and invited the media to a meeting from the Miraflores Palace. “I have a lot of things to say for a press conference.”
