In Venezuela, a new sports model is being developed that has deep roots in schools, high schools, universities and sports fields, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During a telephone contact with the inauguration of the 2025 Municipal National Sports Games, the Head of State assured that this innovative scheme has been reflected in the development of national games, student and community games.

In this regard, he explained that the scheme for the communal games has allowed the participation of more than one million 545 thousand athletes in the country, of whom 6 thousand 105 passed and are participating in different disciplines of the sports event inaugurated this Sunday.

“It's an extraordinary system that manages to unite the generation of gold with the generation of genius. Future Olympic and Pan-American medalists in our country. The commune is the path for building the new society and providing options and solutions for a society in harmony and consolidating the structural and perpetual peace of our country,” he emphasized.
