President Maduro inaugurated Apacuana International Tourist Route in Petare's “La Lucha” neighborhood

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, visited the Apacuana Integral Tourist Route, as part of the “Antonio José de Sucre Plan”, which aims to connect and promote the historical, cultural, magical-ancestral and gastronomic elements of the Mirandina area.
According to representatives of this Caracas community, this emblematic place has become a focal point for implementing internal organizational strategies that promote the economic, historical, social and political development of the Mirandina region.
“In view of the fact that this tourist proposal offers a wide range of attractions ideal for recreation and enjoyment for both its inhabitants and visitors,” said a presidential press release.
On the other hand, the diversity of cultural and sporting talents that this destination houses, together with the community organization, make it a welcoming and safe space for tourists; in addition to having an outstanding and varied gastronomic offer that includes national dishes, Creole sweets and handicrafts.

With community activities led by committed structures, we constantly seek to improve the quality of life of this proposal, which is steeped in history due to its deep-rooted traditions and the hospitality of its people, which make it a destination for community cooperation that inspires us to continue working for the sustainable development of Venezuela.
Advances and Achievements Through Community Power
This project began its promotion through the Miranda Tourism Corporation, which has intervened in the “Barrio La Lucha”; with the objective of creating a product of high tourist, social and cultural value for the town, through the following schedule of action:
Development of an open-air urban art gallery.
Tourism awareness days by the Ministry of Tourism.
Entrepreneurship training by the state entrepreneurship secretary Miranda and my bank.
Aesthetic and structural care by Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor (7 commercial premises, a house for managed tasks and 150 facades of family homes).
Training and training for more than 70 entrepreneurs who are part of the urban tourist route, through the Ministry of Tourism.
Day of banking and financial care by the digital bank for workers and the national entrepreneurship fund; aimed at more than 70 entrepreneurs on the road.
Additionally, this tourist route has an urban route, organized as follows:
Miranda Metro Station/Altamira Metro Station
- Plaza Francia
- The Mercedes
- Caracas sphere- Jesús Soto
- Redoma El Cristo de Petare
- La Lucha neighborhood
It is important to highlight that this project is based on the Plan of the 7 Transformations and with the vision of pacifying, vindicating and rebuilding the Petare parish, since, with the activation of this 10 km route, it will be possible to appreciate the potential of the municipality
Sucre, encompassing four strategic points, such as: Barrio La Lucha, Colonial Zone of Petare, Barrio Carpintero, Las Casitas sector and El Morro.
