President Maduro inaugurated the facilities of the Children in Space Expo: Journey to the Solar System

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, visited the “Children in Space Expo: Journey to the Solar System”, an innovative proposal that brings the youngest members of the house closer to the mysteries of the universe.
In this interactive exhibition, the head of state was accompanied by the Republic's first female fighter, Cilia Flores.
The head of state recalled that, previously, he presented them with the Simon Expo: From Child to Liberator and the Expo Maradona, and now he is giving them an exhibition of high technological level, considered one of the most advanced in the world, under the title Expo Children in Space: Journey to the Solar System.
He also reported that this exhibition will be open to the public starting next Friday, December 05, 2025, offering an innovative space for learning and exploring the universe.
The exhibition is available in the immediate vicinity of the Simon Bolivar Park Convention Center, in La Carlota, boys and girls will experience like never before in the country a whole experience around the solar system, making them feel the cosmos to the point of being excited and awakening their imagination and curiosity about space, reported the Presidential Press portal.
Visitors, along the route comprised of 14 stations, become astronauts who approach each of the planets of the solar system, inquiring about them and experiencing the influences of the Sun, having a sensory journey.
Each participant will learn about the importance of gravity for the development of life on Earth, as well as about the Big Bang theory, the most amazing secrets of space, the interior of a space station and seeing what the Earth is like from space.
The adventure continues with a tour to visit the Chinese space station, and from there start an interstellar journey to observe near-Earth objects and planetary systems.
The exhibition also leaves space for art and creativity, offering the possibility of coloring 3D objects.
In an exciting virtual reality (VR) game, visitors will work as a team to build a space rocket using scrap and space debris. This dynamic seeks to raise awareness about the importance of recycling, while living a fun experience.
Also, with artificial intelligence, the story of Laika, the stray dog who arrived in space aboard Sputnik 2, is recreated, and with immersive reality, cosmic phenomena.
In addition, with VR devices, attendees will be able to learn about the installations where Venezuelan scientists collect data on astronomy and meteorology, and where they monitor and control satellites, monitor terrestrial and atmospheric phenomena.
In addition, they learn about the most interesting and secret features of Tuesday, Venus and Mercury, the neighbors of planet Earth.
