President Maduro inaugurates the fully rehabilitated Dr. Julio Criollo Rivas Pediatric Hospital

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday, October 08, inaugurated the completely rehabilitated Dr. Julio Criollo Rivas Pediatric Hospital in the El Cementerio sector in Caracas.

During the tour, the head of state stated that the health center is “for boys and girls, the best in education and health; all our love. In other places they launch missiles at them, they kill Palestinian children.”

In this context, he stressed that “in Venezuela they are not missiles like you, imperialist gentlemen, throw at children. In Venezuela, we have come to inaugurate, as a package, this children's hospital for all children.”

The hospital serves a population of more than 300,000 boys and girls a year, from the popular sectors of the capital city.

The sector has three communes near the Point and Circle, which are distributed as follows: Jorge Rodríguez (father), with a population of 8,440 people; First of May United, which has 5,979 inhabitants and Estrella del Sur, with 13,848 inhabitants.

In addition, a total of more than 28,000 inhabitants of El Cementerio will be treated, including cases of emergency, hospitalization, outpatient consultation and specialized care.
