President Maduro instructs the creation of a team of leaders of territorial bases of Communes and Communal Circuits

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, instructed the minister of popular power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, to create a “super team of leaders from the territorial bases of the Communes and Communal Circuits for the next 4 national popular consultations to be held next year, 2026".

In the Simón Bolívar Commune, located in the 23 de Enero parish of Caracas, the Head of State indicated that Minister Prado has 72 hours to fulfill the assignment.

“I want you to discuss from the ground up how the new electoral system that the country is demanding, that the country needs, should be shaped. Next year we have 4 inquiries. And since the first consultation, starting the year, I want to have decisions taken and a vertiginous advance of the new electoral system,” said the National President as an organizational guideline for future consultations,” he said.
