The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, invited the people to participate in the march commemorating the Day of Indigenous Resistance, in honor of the strength, wisdom and legacy of the ascentral community.

Through his official Telegram channel, the head of state stated: “This October 12, we meet to commemorate the Day of Indigenous Resistance and to remember the strength and wisdom of our native peoples.”
