The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, once insisted on implementing a culture of maintenance aimed at the Metrobús Mass Transportation System.

In this regard, he emphasized that a key and fundamental measure for the entire bus transport system to work optimally is preventive maintenance, if this does not exist, “everything ends and everything ends in a cemetery where buses are channeled”.

For this reason, he stressed that it is necessary to multiply the number of workshops so that in all municipalities there are adequate workshop yards with spare parts and capacity to handle the preventive maintenance of bus units.

The approach was made at the Metrobús La Paz Complex, where he led a working day, of the Great Venezuela Transport Mission, for the Recovery of the Administrative Facilities, Courtyards and Workshops of the La Paz Metrobus.

He confirmed that the Bolivarian Government maintains the plan to “bring the Metrobús service to the entire country, I have insisted a lot on that, but in the end the so-called 'Trans' were created, some have worked, but most have not. I have delivered four thousand or more buses nationwide.”

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, explained that grandparents, grandmothers and people with disabilities will have an exempt card, while students will be able to have a blue card with a 50% discount on this service.
