President Maduro: It is necessary to refound the United Nations (+BRICS)

At the XVI BRICS Summit, President Nicolás Maduro called for the refounding of the United Nations, with the objective that this organization ceases to be an instrument at the service of imperial powers and promotes justice for the People of Palestine, for example.

The head of state criticized Israel's aggressions and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and Lebanon, in the face of complicit silence.

“There is a need to face the revival of Nazi and fascist movements,” said Maduro, a press review by Radio Miraflores.

The National President assured that a new world is possible. “The BRICS have already been born, which is the epicenter of the birth and historic birth of that new world, with profoundly human values and principles,” he added.

“As our commander Hugo Rafael Chávez said, the era of that world of balance, which is the multipolar, multicentric world, has arrived,” said Maduro.

In that regard, he affirmed that the BRICS can count on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and on all the revolutionary force of our historic project.
