President Maduro: It is necessary to win the cognitive war to achieve world peace

From the Ayacucho Hall of the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the award ceremony for the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award 2025 and assured that it is necessary to win the cognitive war to achieve world peace.

“Thought is now the epicenter of a world war, a “ cognitive war for the management of the emotions, thoughts and ways of being of the peoples of the world,” he said.

He took the opportunity to make an appeal to the unity of peoples who reject imperial impositions, urging them to go ahead in the fight for sovereignty and truth.

He emphasized that information and critical awareness are essential tools for building a future of peace in the current global landscape.
