President Maduro: More than 50,000 works have been built directly by the People's Power

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured that Popular Power has reached the figure of almost 50,000 works built throughout the country.

“This fact expresses the leading role in the execution of community projects, overcoming traditional management schemes and eliminating intermediaries,” he said.

In this regard, the head of state specified that “never in the history of Venezuela had so many works been built, and who built them? The grassroots people, doing a lot with their projects and, starting and completing the works without leaving them half-finished or poorly finished.”

He pointed out that this management model, which prioritizes the direct participation of communities, proves to be more effective in the allocation and execution of resources.
