President Maduro: More than 70,000 delegates will participate in the National Constituent Congress of the Working Class

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Madur, announced that more than 70,000 delegates will participate next week in the installation of the National Constituent Congress of the Working Class, after being elected as delegates in their work centers of the Popular Constituent Process of the Popular Working Class.

This was stated at the close of a mobilization registered in the city of Caracas, in tribute to the 166th anniversary of the Battle of Santa Inés, an event that occurred in 1859.

In that regard, he added that popular constituent processes are being applied at all levels. “The process of youth is going from strength to strength, as is that of teachers and women (...) We are going in an unstoppable way, like the process that the peasant movement has experienced applying the method of the popular constituent process,” he said.
