President Maduro: October 12 for all of America is the day the genocide began

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that on October 12, 1492, the genocidal extermination of a continent where its inhabitants resisted and fought against the attacks of the Spanish Empire began.

“October 12 for all of America is the day that genocide, extermination and colonialism began. But, at the same time, for our original peoples, a beginning of Resistance, of Life over Death, of Freedom over Slavery and of the Republican idea of monarchy,” said the National President from his Telegram channel.

In addition, he shared a video in which a criticism is made that, due to the media war, has deceived many about what happened 532 years ago in these lands with the erroneous premise that America or the so-called Hispanic Heritage Day was discovered.
