President Maduro offered a balance after the attack on the SEN: Venezuela is at peace and working!

“After the heart attack of the National Electricity System (SEN), Venezuela is at peace and working,” emphasized the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, offering an assessment after this terrorist action on the night of this Friday, August 30, from the Presidential Command Post of the Miraflores Palace.

The Head of State highlighted his congratulations and thanks to “all the people of Venezuela for the lessons we have learned over all these years and we know where the attacks come from (...) This town has an immense wisdom to know what needs to be done at every juncture. For this reason, I congratulate all the people: the people in uniform, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces; and the state and municipal police forces, CICPC, SEBIN and DGCIM, who immediately and in an exemplary way, once the heart attack of the SEN was confirmed, which left the entire country without electricity service, as in March 2019, were immediately activated.”

He added that the State security forces immediately activated the Centella Plan, to patrol, protect and accompany the population. “Our people went out to work, we saw it in good media broadcasts and, once again, TELESUR shone again from the start in the communities and streets, showing our people walking, working and active.”
