President Maduro on 23F: The Civic-Military-Police Union That Defended Our Borders

“February 23 was marked as the day that Venezuela fought for sovereignty and Peace in the 'Battle of the Bridges', where they intended to invade us with supposed 'humanitarian aid', and thus generate violence to destabilize our country,” wrote the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros through his Telegram channel, this Sunday.

The president's message on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges, was accompanied by an audiovisual material that summarizes the struggle of the People with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

“The extremist right, the same group as always, perverse and evil, which has been involved in all the conspiracies to harm Venezuelan society, did not have a definitive detail: the civic-military-police union that defended our borders, guaranteeing territorial integrity,” he stressed.

The head of state reminded the ranks that "in the face of each test we have come out stronger. It is collective learning that goes to the individual, and it is the admiration of the whole world. They haven't happened, nor will we let them go! Peace in Venezuela is sacred and we will take care of it.”
