President Maduro on 8.58% of GDP growth: We know what we are doing and no one is going to stop us

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in a meeting with economic sectors of the country, highlighted that the national economy has grown by 8.58% of the Gross Domestic Product driven by national and international investment, in the different sectors.

“Venezuela has achieved 13 quarters of growth in its real Gross Domestic Product (GDP), there is a good economic expectation in society; in the population; in the economic actors; because of what one sees and feels in the country; because of the success of small, medium, and large economic processes,” stressed the national president.

He described the economic growth figure published by the BCV as auspicious, since they continue the economic recovery process, which began in the second quarter of 2021. He also stressed that this recovery is based on the heroic act of resistance of the Venezuelan people against the economic blockade imposed on Venezuela.

“The growth of the economy that produces goods and services, and not driven by the volume of oil exported, we know what we are doing and nothing and no one will stop us,” said the president.
