The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that whoever wins tomorrow's presidential election, Tuesday, November 5 in the United States, “what is in the best interest of Venezuela and Latin America is to have their own path, not to depend on anyone and to guarantee the well-being of our countries.”

He added that it is not allowed for a leader from another country to call for a vote for a US candidate or to get involved in the American electoral process.

“In any case, whoever comes to the White House will have a revolutionary Government in Venezuela, Bolivarian and its people with whom they will have to talk, dialogue and understand each other in good faith (...). Here we will be, whoever wins. We don't meddle in the internal affairs of the United States, we just see, observe and follow our path. No one from the north is going to come and build the Venezuela we need,” he said.
