President Maduro: Our project aims at the peace of free, rebellious, independent and sovereign peoples

“Our goal of our project is peace, but it's not just any peace. Isn't it the peace of slaves or do you want to be slaves again? It is not the peace of cemeteries, it is not the peace of the colonies, it is the peace of free, rebellious, independent and sovereign peoples.”

This was stated by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the ceremony commemorating the Bicentenary of the delivery of the Sword of Peru to the Liberated Simon Bolivar, symbol of the victory of the Liberating Army over the Spanish Empire.

The National President pointed out that this peace is intended to be taken away by imperialism, so he emphasized the importance of unity and the willingness to fight in any scenario of all Venezuelans in defense of sovereignty and freedom.

“Just as they attacked (Hugo) Chávez and they attack us with fake news, manipulations, disgusting lies, bastard garbage from the North, we go with our dignity and our truth reminding them that Bolivar was not a name, he was a cause, and today he is a people. Bolivar is a people united in battles and forever in victory!” , he exalted.

The head of state sealed the commitment of Bolivarians in defense of peace and freedom with an oath that closed with a call to prepare and to remain alert to act in any scenario that may arise against the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
