President Maduro presents project to reactivate Turpialito Hydrobiological

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the Turpialito Hydrobiological Station will be reactivated through a special development project that integrates science with the community and the country's economic development.
“This is a work developed with a multidisciplinary group that will be dedicated to applying science at the highest level of knowledge at the service of the productive sector,” he explained.
For her part, the Vice President for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, said that the project is aimed at the preservation of marine species and national aquaculture.
“This is the recovery of the station where work will be done to expand knowledge for the production and cultivation of oysters, mussels and natural algae that serve as food for marine species. The purpose is to produce them for export purposes to enter the mussel and oyster market with force,” he said.
