President Maduro presents the recovery of the Ateneo de Turmero Theater in Aragua

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through a remote connection with the mayor of the Santiago Mariño municipality of the state of Aragua, Carlos Guzmán, delivered the first rehabilitated phase of the emblematic Ateneo de Turmero Theater, consolidating it as the new center of art, culture and brilliance of the municipality.

This theater, as a project of the town, was financed and prioritized thanks to the resources of the National Popular Consultation and had the active participation of spokespersons from the Valles de Picacho Commune, cultivators who saw this dream materialized.

The rehabilitation included the intervention of crucial spaces such as training rooms for children and adults in the areas of music, painting, plastic arts and dance. In addition, it will become the new headquarters of the Venezuelan National Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs.

The mayor explained that the athenaeum will have a second phase that will include the construction of an auditorium, commercial area and roads, designed to meet all the people of Turmereño.
