President Maduro ratified the call to the People to participate in the second National Popular Consultation

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on the members of the communities of Venezuela to attend the more than seven thousand voting stations set up throughout the country on Sunday, April 27, starting at 8:00am, in order to hold the second National Popular Consultation 2025.

“From 8:00 in the morning, natural leaders, spokespersons and spokespersons of the Community Councils, the Communes and the Community Circuits, will be waiting for you in the voting centers,” said the head of state, in the El Café segment of his program “Maduro Live De Repente”.

He confirmed that the objective is that “it is you neighbor, neighbor who decides with your vote the prioritized project to approve and finance it immediately, and fix that power that your community is becoming more beautiful”.

In that sense, he emphasized that participation in this process “is a responsibility, but I also say: a duty of conscience”.

“It's a wonderful experience to allow the People to articulate and manage self-government,” he said.

At this point, he specified that the Bolivarian Government, “has invested 148 million dollars, this operation being the best money invested, since it has been transformed into 14,000 projects built by the population.”

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, announced that preparation for election day on April 27 is well under way.

“The conditions are in place to increase the participation of neighbors in the second Popular Consultation. Many projects are being implemented, and others are under way,” he stressed.
