President Maduro ratifies G/J Vladimir Padrino as Minister for Defense

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during an activity at the Army Military Academy, ratified G/J Vladimir Padrino López at the head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense and announced changes in the Superior General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
“Today, October 14, under the Oak and the Saman of the Army Military Academy, I ordered changes to be made to the Superior General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and ratified GJ Vladimir Padrino López as Minister of Popular Power for Defense, and GJ Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez as head of the Strategic Operational Command.
I appointed MG Johan Alexander Hernández Larez to the General Command of the Bolivarian Army.
In the Command of the Bolivarian Navy, Admiral Ashraf Andel Hadi Suleiman Gutierrez.
In command of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, MG Lenín Lorenzo Ramírez Villasmil.
In addition, in the General Command of the Bolivarian National Guard, the MG has been ratified. Elio Ramon Estrada Paredes. And in command of the Glorious Bolivarian Militia, MG Orlando Ramón Romero Bolívar.
At the head of the General Military Counterintelligence Directorate (DGCIM) and the Presidential Honor Guard (GHP), MG Javier Marcano Tábata.
And at the head of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), MG Alexis Rodríguez Cabello.
I also renewed the REDIS commands as follows:
