President Maduro ratifies goal for 2027 of six thousand communes consolidated at the national level

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that the Bolivarian Government has as its goal for January 2027 to be consolidated, well organized “and prepared at least six thousand communes at the national level.”

“Well consolidated, with their leadership, with their Government Chambers and Self-Government Chamber, with their work teams, with the Community Bank, their productive projects,” he said in the broadcast of the 76th edition of the program “With Maduro+”.

In this regard, he stressed that “we have to multiply our resources to learn every day to do more, more and more with what we have, because we can, and the formula is that the People plan, organize, decide and execute resources”.

“This year we are going to implement four community projects, plus one for culture and one for youth. In 2026, four more, when we reach 2027, we will have all the communities in the country, already in a high situation of public services, health, education, coexistence and progress at all levels,” he stressed.

In this context, he stressed that “we are prepared for the second National Popular Consultation next Sunday, April 27, where each neighbor will vote freely and choose the projects that will be financed by the National Budget for priority works in each community.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, shared with spokespersons and spokeswomen of the Commune the “Rebirth of Vista Alegre” in the El Valle parish of Caracas.

Through a video call, he reported that these spokespersons have achieved almost 95% of achievement in their Concrete Action Agenda (ACA), to continue strengthening Popular Power in the country.
