President Maduro reaffirmed the need for a police with the best methods for peace in the country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that this Friday, December 20, “is a day to reaffirm the paths, to imagine a police that creates the best methods for the security and peace of our country.”

In that sense, he specified that it is a matter of seeing the horizon “where we are going, the police must have the best preventive intelligence in the entire history of Venezuelan police.”

“My greetings on this special day to all the officials, all the professionals and all the wonderful staff of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB),” he said.

He recalled that the PNB “is the glorious institution founded by our eternal beloved Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, the great reviver of the idea and the original project of Bolívar, our Liberator.”

This was expressed during a telephone contact, with the event on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), led by the vice-president of the sector for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, held in the state of Miranda.

He added that action must be taken so that the PNB “has the best services to help, protect and assist our people.”
