President Maduro reiterated goal of 2 million children and adolescents in the Orchestra System

In the Digital Zone segment of his regular program Con Maduro+, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted that by 2027, Venezuela's National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs will reach 2 million boys and girls.

He recalled that years ago the Orchestra System had only 300,000 children and young people, which is why its growth should not only be in the centers, but in schools and high schools, assuring that “this is the method”.

Along these lines, the President recalled that when Commander Chávez left for eternity, he considered, together with Maestro Abreu, the strengthening of the Venezuelan Orchestra System.

“Maestro Abreu applied the method of Maestro Simón Rodríguez, of our Robinson, which is 'learning by doing and doing by learning', this thought to refer to the learning and pedagogical techniques he applied to the musical talent of the Venezuelan orchestra.

In this regard, it is important to highlight that the teacher José Antonio Abreu left a great legacy, for having developed with great coherence between word, thought and action.
