President Maduro: Seminar on the Speech from Angostura to the Blue Book calls on us to deepen democracy

The Seminar on the Speech of Angostura to the Blue Book is an invitation to continue deepening democracy, said this Monday, February 17, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the broadcast of the 71st edition of his program “With Maduro+”.
In his speech, the head of state commented on the process of birth of the I, II, III, IV Republics of Venezuela and other historical events.
For his part, the president of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG), Pedro Calzadilla, highlighted that Venezuela's historic project has a date of birth, which was in Angostura.
He also indicated that the Congress of Angostura should be placed within the anniversary of the Fatherland.
In his speech, the president of the Simon Bolivar Study Center, Alejandro López, indicated that more than 50 people, including teachers and researchers, participate in the Seminar on the Discourse of Angostura to the Blue Book, to continue to deepen democracy in Venezuela.
López explained that more than 55 people, including teachers, historians, chroniclers and researchers from different disciplines, who reflected on the two texts that are fundamental to understanding our political identity.
He stressed that they are texts to pay attention to, arguing that there are formulated the bases of the principles of the Venezuelan national project that are part of the Venezuelan patriotic revolutionary theory.
In addition, historian Luis Felipe Pellicer praised the achievements and thoughts of the Liberator Simon Bolivar to radicalize democracy in Venezuela and the world.
