President Maduro signed a decree refounding UNACOM

This Saturday, May 24, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed the decree of the refoundation for the refoundation of the National University of the Communes (UNACOM), which was born when we are “in the midst of an offensive to build communal circuits, communes, popular consultations and the transformation of everything”.

In this regard, during the inauguration of UNACOM in Carabobo, he stated that this new house will take as a reference the successful pedagogical parameters of the Robinson, Rivas and Sucre mission.

In addition, he indicated that he will also work hand in hand with national universities such as the Bolivarian University, the University of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the Simón Rodríguez University, the Workers' University, among others.

“The effort to build a new country must be focused on alternative education, new education, new pedagogy, education in values, on new political culture to completely erase the old political culture of lies, deception, demagoguery of politics; that is why the pedagogical method has to be other than morals and ethics, it has to be that of doing things really, sincerely, with honesty and learning to do things with our hands,” he said.

He reaffirmed that with the inauguration of UNACOM he fulfils the mandate of Commander Hugo Chávez to carry out the communes and “that a new economic, political and social model of 21st century Venezuela of Bolivarian socialism may be born powerful and growing.”
