President Maduro swore in National Commission to discuss constitutional reform with the People

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, swore in this Saturday the comprehensive and inclusive National Commission to discuss with the People the proposals for Constitutional Reform, which he presented to the National Assembly, with four central themes.

The commission will be composed of Tarek William Saab, Delcy Rodríguez, Hernán Escarrà and Cilia Flores, who will make up the Executive Secretariat and will have 90 days to deploy throughout the country.

“In order for them to make a great effort of integration, national consultation, debate, elaboration, collective wisdom and integration of all opinions. I am convinced beyond the threats, the tests we have overcome and the scenarios we have managed to build for the new, I am convinced that our country is ready to decide its future,” said the Head of State from the Elliptical Hall of Parliament, during the Solemn Session for the 206 years of the Installation of the Angostura Congress.

He stressed that “our country is ready to decide its future and leave advanced elements reflected in the new Constitution”.
